Event Information :Kondivde village at the base is where we start our trek – about half-way up the western slope of Rajmachi is our destination. Kondana Caves is an enormous rock-cut Budhist cave. The Chaitya of the cave retains its wooden enterior and in the monsoon with the overhead water gushing down over the opening of the cave in a powerful waterfall – it’s a sight to behold. Only beware this is quite a popular tourist spot as the walking is quite easy – but its an exotic sight which should not be missed.
