Base Jumping

Base Jumping

BASE jumping, also sometimes written as B.A.S.E jumping, is an extreme activity that involves jumping over tall fixed structures with a packed parachute. "B.A.S.E." is an acronym that stands for four categories of fixed structures from which one can jump: Buildings, Antennae, Spans (bridges), and Earth (cliffs). BASE jumping is much more dangerous as compared to Skydiving since it’s a very low altitude jump, very close to the structure and the BASE Jumper has to deploy his parachute almost immediately after the jump.
