Kite Boarding

Kiteboarding / Kite Surfing is a widely used term encompassing various different Kiting sports. All of which derive from the use of a kite (or a small sail) for power. Kite-boarding is a relatively new sport that first gained popularity in the late 90s.Kiteboarding is a mixture between windsurfing, surfing and wakeboarding. Different size kites allows you to kite board in various wind strengths. The bigger the kite, the lighter the wind you can go in and vice versa. Boards with wheels are used instead of kite surf boards. Boards used for kite boarding are typically shorter and lighter than those used for mountain boarding. You use the power of the kite to pull you along on either a field or a beach.
